Fact:
I am a music freak.. my love .. har ! har ! .I am not much of a
journo to write a professional article ..Esp a music review..but then I have heard enough
music to have a melodious ear! (mark that. .. only ear !).

Fact:
Well..I can play a little with whatever miniscule vocabulary I possess.....
"Pretty Pathetic Poetry n Prose" ..and I would say that's very much taken care of. An
my words breathe their last only in my posts.

Fact:
Was an amateur in stage acting and dramatics.And then what happened !?....My
professional 'greek god' good looks put an end to
that .But anyways if its got to do anything with expressing an emotion.. I'm good.But as
you know they never considered that aspect for a theatrical/motion picture career any
way.

Oh! for Gosh's sake CP.. get to the point.. YES ... Here it goes... From the indisputable 'Theory of relativity ' I conclude that the afore mentioned song has a near perfect combination of Music..,Lyrical Poetry... and emotional outpouring..... :). The music is contemporary and hummable. No instrument overused... just the right amount of all streams to give the overall mild heavy rock feel thingy.The starting strumm sets the mood . A'ight.. and the lyrics... Ahh..:) One of those one in a million songs that can be so simple yet so profound in describing the singer's thoughts. And that is where the poetry connects to the emotion associated with the theme of the song: Love ..longing and Hope !!

Fact:
Every song /poem has a unique listener, singer, reader... who relates to the song in his own unique feeling .

Say ,I am away from someone .. and long to be close...or for that matter you miss somone you havent even heard yet !! but feel like u have connected... (For all those of u who are assuming things right now!! Drop Dead.. !! I am a poet for chrissakes !!and may lightening strike me dead !!) . And for those who want to get back to someone ... another chance....:) and a lot more. Trust me I can rant on.. an on :)

A'ight .And the finale.. (oh .. im sorry.. there can never be a finale.. ) the singer does absolute justice to the soul of the song. The tone and pitch.. laden with craving , desire and a feeling of drunk yet sane , hanging in space 'desperation'. The flow of the words and the voice.. makes the song beautiful even without the acoustic accompanyment. Well what about the video , u say .Its no nonsense video.. no gals butt shaking.. .. (thanGawd!!) no real smart hot guys.. But its got a lot of heat n fire ..:) All real life, all real desires, all real hurt ! all real joy! all real realisation... ALL REAL SONG!

WHITE SHROUDS OF NOTHINGNESS ! (Poem)

At my desk..
An existence at rest,
My emptiness devoid of fear.
A blank wall to the rear.
Bright light hurtling..
A powerful shafted spear,
Switching the lamp off,
I giggle in contempt and scoff,
at the precocious mind..
enveloped in white shrouds of nothingness!

In motion..
An acceleration at rest,
Man and machine I steer.
Machine throbs at a higher gear.
Black body speeding..
A Destination unclear,
bring to neutral..ignition off
I stare and jeer,
at the listless face
emblazoned in dull expressions of nothingness!


A flickering screen..
A pardoned cursor at rest.
My Thoughts ..I shift delete and cache clear.
Pentium spirits laid waste,
Days and hours hurried in haste,
Close them windows and shutdown..
I scowl and frown,
at the dark reflecting monitor

That Chestnut gaze ..

I cross my butter fingers ..

I close my eyes ..

Soft black silken strands..

a flick of the hands..

swoosh...go tufts of hair

set behind the fine ear..

A twist of the wrist ..

face comes for'ward..looks deep

Oh my GOD!!.. May Lightening strike me down

Never say never again..

Umm.. Errr what was that! Doesn't it sound like a 007 flick ?? Yes it does .. but unfortunately.. the character I am talkin about ( me !! ) is no more an agent 007 than you , the reader .. are a Miss India 2007( and I have no friggin idea who she is !!! and no offfence at all to my male readers .. :) ). And I care less. It would have mattered probably if she was sitting behind me on my bike and holding on tight to me , braving the cold .. (jus a lil cold :))
The Point is, how many times , Have you had to tell yourself .."NAVER AGAIN " ..for anything. Be it a matter of stupidity at office, be it lookin like a clown in the midst of groups of guys and gals..(the fact that all the other guys are much better looking than you, adds to your !@$@#!@#$ plight), Be it being wounded in a relationship, Be it being momentarily crazy on road.. or shouting at a senior family member for being impossible and then regretting it.

And Having said it once .. you almost always end up doing the same thing again and again
and again,
and again,
and again....
Do i have have hurt myself physically to effect that sense into me ! Well no, I dont think so.. I am soo much in love with myself , i cant(read 'wont') do that to myself . :)

So what do you do ?
What do you do .. when u are at a crossroads and dont have an idea which direction you want to go.. you want to try everything .. But remember, the last time you tried the same thing, you ended up at this predicament, with all its eccentricities and fun and blames.

Hell yeah .. jus walk on ahead .. and never think about it again.. :)
