MALAISE ! Mother Earth..

They had you scorched
They had you hurt
O Earth ,but never would u tell,
such misery , such pain
and the malaise that befell.

Your splendour , your greens,
chopped down all brown ,
you never would complain
A single buzzing heave of the chainsaw
burning splinters orange bright
Oh yes ! you can see the doomsday night!

Bygone the happy days of protection and gratitude
"o mother! o mother! we for thee!" those cries so loud ..
blew away with smoking chimneys of time
and the children lived.... sans compassion
and you cried ..with the burning splinters orange bright!

would the sentinel rise ! a mass .?
the name that be youth
not one not two but countless to make you soothe
and strive would they ? that this monstrous hell..
this malaise, would never again swell !!!
