POSSESSION


An angel Questioned..
little eyes twinkling,Chinky eyed...
"Have I possessed you yet ?"
She smiled...,I gazed away
No , I lied,
"A lot more ..you would need to try."
I Hid my face and my eye !

"Huh !" she moaned.
In her dejected sweetness ,
Tethering her frown,
she dropped her brow.
Lifting her moist eyes ,
she subdued her surmise.

"And have you possessed me ?"
She asked I.Scyllian tresses flying..
"I'm not there yet "
gazing away, says I..
Snapping knuckles and a fake fret.
"How long would you take to get.. ?"
"I don't know..I've sort of resigned...
sulking
in a past's dragnet !"

Little did she realize..
My stupid pride and and fake lies..
She already had me,
And i wasn't even close yet !
In the palm of her hand
in the depth of her mind.
I plunged into this headlong..
this entrapment of an emotional grind !

Im still here,
Too late..she's gone.
Gone with her are her bye's
I hear one republic..
"Its too late to apologize"
